We’re looking for someone special to join our Paciugo Shreveport family crew. We need someone to do Gelato Production. We make Gelato every day, 7 days per week, beginning at 7:00 am. Production shifts are 7 am to 1:00 or 2:00 pm, depending on how much Gelato has to be made. This new team member will do production 4 or 5 days per week which could/will include weekends and holidays. We are in the process of advancing our operation so baking/cooking will become a part of production in the near future as well. Absolutely no experience is needed, we'll train you, it's easy, interesting, fulfilling and fun.

Absolutely no food service or restaurant experience is necessary, and in fact, previous experience can make it more difficult to learn to do things our way.
Most importantly, team members have to be likable, nice, easy to get along with and like serving people. Getting along with everyone on the crew, greeting folks when they come in the door, smiling, looking them in the eyes, chatting with them and helping them make their selection, thanking them genuinely, and sincerely wishing them well when they leave are all absolutely mandatory.
Cleaning is the second most important thing we do; the entire café, inside and out, is to be spotless at all times: there is never a time when there isn’t something that needs to be cleaned or done.
Team members also have to be people who do not just stand around waiting to be told what to do, and certainly should never have to ask what needs to be done after some time on the job, but proactively watch and learn and figure out what needs to be done.
Consistent and great products is the most important rule in this business; however, we are a young dynamic and developing operation still tweaking and perfecting operations and processes, so team members have to be great at following procedures and production instructions which are required for consistency, but also quick learners and open to incremental changes and improvements along the way.
Dependability and trustworthiness are extremely vital traits in all team members; there is no place for undependable or untrustworthiness in our family.
Everyone on the crew will be involved in interviews and employment decisions, because our family/crew is extraordinary at what we do so they know exactly what kind of person it takes. “Fit” is the number one employment factor. With such an incredible crew already here, new members should come in expecting standards and expectations to be very high. Fast learning and adapting is important.
Paciugo Shreveport is open 7-days-per-week, 365 days-per-year from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm. Besides a production person, we also especially need a couple people who can work until 11:00 on weeknights and midnight on weekends on the closing crew.
Shifts are generally 7:00 to 1:00, 1:00 to 6:00, and 6:00 to close with some shorter peak time server shifts scattered within the afternoon. We also have a completely different concession operation in Bossier City that require a few more people at different times as well especially on weekends.
